Lo scorso 28 ottobre, BBC Two ha trasmesso il corto documentario Harry Potter: A History of Magic, per celebrare il 20° anniversario dell’uscita di Harry Potter e la Pietra Filosofale.


Nel documentario, troviamo J.K. Rowling raccontare delle ispirazioni che hanno reso possibile la creazione del mondo magico presente nella sua saga, e accanto a lei ritroviamo gli attori del cast della saga cinematografica, tra cui David Thewlis, Evanna Lynch e Mark Williams, che reciteranno alcune delle frasi più celebri dei personaggi del libro.


L’episodio è stato realizzato con la collaborazione della British Library. Quest’anno si celebra anche il 10° anniversario dell’uscita dell’ultimo romanzo della saga letteraria, Harry Potter e i Doni della Morte, pubblicato nel luglio 2007 (in Italia arrivò a gennaio 2008).


On October 28, BBC Two broadcast short documentary Harry Potter: A History of Magic, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and Philosopher's Stone.


In the documentary, we find J.K. Rowling tells about inspirations that made it possible to create the magic world in his saga, and next to her we find actors in the movie saga cast, including David Thewlis, Evanna Lynch and Mark Williams, who will recite some of the most famous phrases of characters of the book.


The episode was made with the collaboration of the British Library. This year is also celebrated the 10th anniversary of the release of the last novel of the literary saga Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, published in July 2007 (arrived in Italy in January 2008).
