Description
A director (Charlize Theron) of an international aid agency in Africa meets a relief aid doctor (Javier Bardem) amidst a political/social revolution, and together face tough choices surrounding humanitarianism and life through civil unrest. La storia d'amore tra il Dr. Miguel Leon, un medico impegnato in una missione di aiuto sanitario, e la Dr. Wren Petersen, direttrice di una organizzazione umanitaria. Sullo sfondo di una Liberia devastata dalla guerra, Miguel e Wren dovranno trovare il modo per mantenere vivo il loro rapporto in condizioni estremamente difficili e affrontare anche il problema che le loro opinioni per risolvere il conflitto che li circonda sono diametralmente opposte.
