From July, 1913 to the outbreak of World War I, a series of incidents take place in a German village. A horse trips on a wire and throws the rider; a woman falls to her death through rotted planks; the local baron's son is hung upside down in a mill; parents slap and bully their children; a man is cruel to his long-suffering lover; another sexually abuses his daughter. People disappear. A callow teacher, who courts a nanny in the baron's household, narrates the story and tries to investigate the connections among these accidents and crimes. What is foreshadowed? Are the children holy innocents? God may be in His heaven, but all is not right with the world; the center cannot hold.

on the planet seem to be made - in Germany of course (spoken as a fan of Greta Scacchi
and Jessica Lange etc) . That is how rhey were intended I believe by a God who
seems to be second guessed entirely by the likes of so called geniuses like the movie
character of Christopher Plummer (The Sound of Music) who decide in their own native
wisdom that it is perhaps a "dog whistle" (meant for "dogs" as Julie Andrews rightly points
out in the greatest movie "The Sound of Music") that rightly better trains these already
many best of people. What cruelly retarded nonsense of insane abuse that is heaped on
Gods such beautiful children as a result of people who lack better sense than they do.
It is after all arguably Germany that really gives us the best of Meg Ryan and Jessica
Lange and even the great young boy shown in this movie - and it is
those that do not have their equal spirit who should not be set upon them or
as they are in this movie. May god save the true spirit of the best of such people

street branch in Toronto recently for all to be edified with
