Le sorelle Giorgia e Angela, nipoti della defunta contessa Mainardi, ereditano a Colle Verde - nei dintorni di Bologna - una villa ampia e malridotta. Bisognose di denaro, decidono di aprire nella stessa la Pensione Paradiso che gestiscono e servono in tandem familiare. Giorgia, la più graziosa nonché più disinibita delle due sorelle, per accalappiare clienti usa metodi di propaganda che giuocano sull'equivoco. Infatti, desiderosi di avventure galanti giungono alla pensione il maresciallo dei carabinieri Pasquale Esposito, l'avvocato Mandelli, il tenore Settebeni, il tipografo Anselmo Bresci con l'amante Rosaria, moglie del giudice Damiani, e l'on. Vincenzi. Il giudice, noto moralizzatore, sospettando la natura della pensione vi perviene e scopre la moglie nonché l'accolita di personaggi che conosce. Per evitare il peggio, la pensione viene venduta al medico per farne una clinica; e le sorelle Mainardi investono il ricavato in una impresa analoga nella Puglia.
The sisters Giorgia and Angela, nephews of the deceased Countess Mainardi, inherited in Colle Verde - near Bologna - a large and dilapidated villa. In need of money, they decided to open the Pensione Paradiso that they manage and serve in a family tandem. Giorgia, the prettiest and most uninhibited of the two sisters, uses traditional propaganda methods to interfere with the use of propaganda methods. In fact, wishing for gallant adventures, the Marshal of the Carabinieri Pasquale Esposito, the lawyer Mandelli, the tenor Settebeni, the typographer Anselmo Bresci with his lover Rosaria, wife of Judge Damiani, and the Hon. Vincenzi. The judge, known moralizer, suspecting the nature of the pension comes to you and discovers his wife as well as the acolyte of characters he knows. To avoid the worst, the pension is sold to the doctor to make it a clinic; and the Mainardi sisters invest the proceeds in a similar company in Puglia.
