Following the basic premise of other international versions of the format, the show features a group of contestants who are marooned in an isolated location, where they must provide food, water, fire, and shelter for themselves. The contestants compete in challenges for rewards and immunity from elimination. The contestants are progressively eliminated from the game as they are voted out by their fellow contestants until only one remains and is awarded the title of "Sole Australian Survivor" and the grand prize of A$500,000.



Last season we named our Australian Survivor torrents as Season 2 to keep in line with channel 10's rejuvenation of the series. It created some confusion so we are starting this season as season 5 to bring it back in line with other groups releases (Other release groups are obviously not Australian and hadn't seen the first two seasons of Australian Survivor (2002 & 2006) and relise that they should never be talked about or seen. They were that badly produced it would make anyone cringe)

We are putting the WEBRip and 1080p HDTV versions in the same torrent to save time, just select which one you want to download in your torrent program.
