Bill Nighy narrates the stories of 6 epic train journeys through stunning scenery and natural beauty. The World's Most Scenic Railway Journeys will explore trips across Canada, Europe and New Zealand through the characters who travel, work and live near them.


1)  Canada
The first programme rides through Canada's iconic Rocky Mountaineer train in a jaw-dropping loop from Vancouver to the heart of the Rockies, through some of North America's most staggering natural beauty, and on to Banff in Alberta.

2)  Spain
The Northern Spain line begins near Leon in the Picos de Europa mountains, takes in Bilbao's Guggenheim Museum and the beautiful coastline of Galicia, finally ending in the spectacular harbour of Ferrol.

3)  New Zealand
The New Zealand South Island line scales the snow-capped Southern Alps, travels through Maori hunting grounds and finally reaches Christchurch, a city sitting on a volcano
