Trama:
A new FBI profiler, Elizabeth Keen, has her entire life uprooted when a mysterious criminal, Raymond Reddington, who has eluded capture for decades, turns himself in and insists on speaking only to her.

La serie, che , parla dell'ex-agente governativo e fuggitivo Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) e della sua scelta di consegnarsi all'FBI a un patto: lavorerà solo con l'analista Liz Keen (Megan Boone).

Mentre l'improbabile coppia Red-Liz procede nella sua caccia, la giovane recluta verrà messa alla prova dall'ex-agente: Liz dovrà imparare a pensare come un criminale per vedere le cose da una prospettiva più ampia. Ma mano che la trama narrativa evolve, il rapporto fra i due diventerà sempre più profondo e misterioso.

Accanto ai personaggi principali, altri due regulars sono Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) e Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold).

Nella settima stagione, in prima assoluta su FoxCrime dal 20 marzo, Red è stato rapito e Liz dovrà fare di tutto, insieme alla task force, per ritrovarlo.
