The Boondocks - S01
Based on the original comic strip Boondocks, Two young brothers (Huey and Riley) move away from their birth city to live with their irascible grandfather out in the suburbs. With one brother being socially and politically motivated and the younger brother a stereotypical black youth who likes rap music and culture etc Biting socio-political commentary ensues when they meet a whole cast of crazy exaggerated characters set in a mainly white middle upper class neighbourhood.
This program is specifically designed to be viewed by adults and therefore may be unsuitable for children under the age of 17. It contains one or more of the following: graphic violence, explicit sexual content, or crude indecent language.

Plot Summary Adventures of two boys, Riley and Huey Freeman, who undergo a culture clash when they move from Chicago to the suburbs to live with their grandfather.
Note from Encoder The first two seasons are SD upscales and pretty poor efforts on behalf of the studio. Lines were overly aliased and required a lot of filter work to clean up and sharpen the image.
Episode 02 also suffers from incorrect detelecining from the studio. This results in leftover interlacing artifacts and some ghosting during moving or panning shots. Nothing I could do to fix these issues unfortunately, however they shouldn't be too distracting.
I attempted to substitute out Episode 02 with my own upscale from the DVDs, but the DVD presented it's own set of problems, which I considered a worse trade-off compared to the HMAX WEBs.
