Now comes to why :

*¹ : **“WHY SO LEAN? WHERE’S THE BLOAT!?”**
Fam… I heard you, I started this release initially for my own dang viewing pleasure, and was going to use it on my Raspberry Pi Zero like the SBC whore that I am (SBC = Single Board Computadora). But then slowly I started to realize that this encode would fill the dire needs of the 99%, the bulk of the lions share, that my Nyaa fam are in need of. I knew not everyone could download huge high quality 1GB+ files (even tho they dream of doing so), so I made a blood oath to all of you out there, by myself (cause rona), single handedly, to provide you with this. Remember, I never had in mind, in any dark unbeknownst crevice of my mind, to share this at first, but I outgrew this thinking, and painstakingly tailored it to the Nyaa userbase in every way, shape, and form. Due to the time I spent with this project I did not feel like spending any more of my time, plus nickels and dimes, so I encoded all of this on free Google Colab servers, where they provided enormous computing resources (and some good digital sauce) to bring this encode to fruition. I’d like to thank JySzE and friends for creating the greatest Naruto encode that is almost inconceivable, and I’d like to thank myself for convincing myself to cave in and encode this at a smaller size just for Nyaa, and stay to the true spirit of this torrent site.

*² : **“Why not 10bit homie?!!!”**
This is an easy, incredibly simple answer, bloat and cpu cycles my friends. 8 is less than 10, thus you need less CPU to play it! Plus 8 is smaller than 10, so it’s all smaller. Smaller = better.
___
*³ : **“But bro, why 264p!?”**
JySzE made it 528p. I just cut that in half like Zabuza in his prime to reduce bloat even further beyond.
___
*⁴ : **“VFR?”**
Believe it!
___
*⁵ : **“AAC-LC? Anti-Bloat! Fast Play! Plus more Fast!!”**
JP Audio: The PCM audio Naruto comes with is roughly 260MB - 290MB each, I slashed that sucka down to a good size. Also with the AAC-LC codec (the LC stands for low complexity, just like your vocabulary), it requires less of your Pentium III processing cycles to play!
ENG Audio: The R1US Naruto DVD’s come with AC3 audio, now you must be wondering why I decided to encode it to AAC-LC for our Nyaa friends, its rather simple. 90% of you here have small USB HDD’s, SD cards, and thumbdrives, and no money to purchase larger storage. This is for you.
