Filter chain is rescale -> denoise -> deband -> add grain, with 1080p elements protected via mask, and a handful of individual scenes receiving additional aa/dehalo or stronger luma or chroma debanding. If that sounds familiar, it’s because most of what I know about filtering was taught to me by @Scyrous-sensei. Otherwise the differences are pretty minor, but I do think my encode is a little more transparent, and the handful of scenefiltering is nice too. Japanese audio is 16bit FLAC 2.0 and English audio is 16bit FLAC 5.1, both encoded from the BDMV by myself. (For those who are curious, the unencoded BD audio is 16bit). Subs are Underwater’s translation and typesetting, taken from Coalgirls’ release and re-synced to my encode. Chapters are by myself as well. The NCEDs are a little unusual. Each episode’s ending song is sung by different characters, but the video remains the same until episode 12. So, I made one NCED with the normal video/subs and 11 audio tracks, and one NCED with the extended video and audio from episode 12 (still creditless because it was included in the BD). However, the E12 NCED wasn’t translated by Underwater, so the file is raw.
