Story summary from J-Novel Club: "Dale is a cool, composed, and highly skilled adventurer who’s made quite a name for himself despite his youth. One day on a job deep in the forest, he comes across a little devil girl who’s almost wasted away. Unable to just leave her there to die, Dale takes her home and becomes her adoptive father. Devil or not, Latina is beyond adorable, and the adventurer soon finds himself head over heels with being a parent. But why was she out in the forest to begin with, and why does she carry the mark of a criminal?" Regarding the raws, they were encoded in 10-bit 1080p HEVC and use FLAC audio. VCB-Studio's torrent says: "Uchinoko appears to be very short on funding as the image quality is below average. With its native 720p resolution, all kinds of aliasing are visible across the source. We combined descaling and ordinary anti-aliasing to remove the aliasing as much as possible and try to make the line-art looks even." Fortunately, in addition to both the web novel chapters and the manga chapters being tl/scanlated, there is also a release in English tl'd of all the light novel volumes of this series done by J-Novel Club.
