### Synopsis
Kyon, your typical high school student, has long given up his belief in the supernatural. However, upon meeting Haruhi Suzumiya, he quickly finds out that it is the supernatural that she is interested in—aliens, time travelers, and espers among other things. When Haruhi laments about the lack of intriguing clubs around school, Kyon inspires Haruhi to form her own club. As a result, the SOS Brigade is formed, a club which specializes in all that is the supernatural.
Much to his chagrin, Kyon, along with the silent bookworm, Yuki Nagato, the shy and timid Mikuru Asahina, and the perpetually smiling Itsuki Koizumi, are recruited as members. The story follows the crazy adventures that these four endure under their whimsical leader, Haruhi. The story is based on the light novels by Nagaru Tanigawa.

### Notes
A real classic. The best video quality by far was VCB-Studio's release, but
their track-order was inconsistent, their MKV metadata was a mess and it just felt like
their amazing work on the encoding would be more appreciated if they were in a nice
clean remux. I retimed the subtitles from delicio-us' release and added them as well to
complete the package. I personally prefer h264 over h265, but the thing is that this
encode simply is better than any other encode available. As far as I understood is that
most people disliked the episode order in most releases for the anime, since they all
were in a chronological order rather than the broadcast order. Thus I re-ordered it
for you as well. If you still wish to watch it chronologically (I think I probably will, but this
is a personal preference) then here is a clear depiction of how to do so:
The first season has two Japanese Audio tracks, one is 5.1 24bits audio the second 16bits audio.
All of the audio tracks originate from VCB-Studio's release. I couldn't find 24bits English audio anywhere alas.
This release also contains the movie "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" .
The movie contains the following subtitles: Mazui, Chihiro and R1 (styled).
I translated the Japanese chapters of the movie, because de-us' release had way
less chapters and they would've needed retiming for VCB's release. Thus I translated VCB's
chapters instead (mind you, with google translate. If anyone can improve these then you're welcome to do so.
But I don't speak Japanese). The movie has 5.1ch 24bits audio for both the Japanese as the English tracks.
