Frost/Nixon - Il duello, film diretto da Ron Howard, racconta la storia del presidente degli Stati Uniti repubblicano (Frank Langella) che, in seguito all’inchiesta scandalistica Watergate, decide di dimettersi dal suo ruolo. All’uomo si avvicina David Frost (Michael Sheen), un giornalista britannico, che gli chiede di rilasciargli un’intervista esclusiva in cambio di una cospicua somma di denaro. È il 1977 e Nixon, per ottenere consensi, decide di accettare la proposta del reporter. Per procedere, Frost mette su una squadra di giornalisti di talento: John Birt (Matthew Macfadyen), Bob Zelnick (Oliver Platt) e Jim Reston (Sam Rockwell). Sarà proprio quest’ultimo a dare del filo da torcere all’ex presidente, concedendogli una volta per tutte quel processo che non ha mai avuto.
