Come to Daddy, film diretto da Ant Timpson, vede protagonista il trentenne Norval Greenwood (Elijah Wood): un musicista dal passato difficile, che ha sempre vissuto con la madre a Beverly Hills e che non vede il padre da quando aveva 5 anni. Un giorno Norval riceve una lettera inattesa da parte dell’uomo, Brian (Stephen McHattie), che ha chiesto al figlio un incontro presso la sua casa sul mare, in Oregon. Incuriosito ed entusiasta del messaggio del genitore, Norval decide di raggiungerlo senza esitazione. All’inizio tutto sembra andare bene e l’uomo si mostra molto accogliente nei confronti del figlio, ma rapidamente tutto cambia: Brian, che è chiaramente un alcolizzato, diventa strano, inizia a provocare e ad offendere Norval, arrivando persino a minacciarlo il ragazzo. Lo sgomento di Norval di fronte al comportamento del padre non sarà nulla in confronto a quello che proverà di fronte a una serie di soprese apparentemente senza fine.
