The Gentlemen

The Gentlemen (2019) 1080p Bluray 10-bit x265 HEVC Opus 5.1 [XannyFamily]



This is the same as my "PROPER" release but with the Dolby Atmos muxed out and the Opus audio track kept in. If you want high quality 1080p video encoded at a CRF of 17 in 10-bit x265 but don't need Atmos, this is the torrent for you. Same great quality, much smaller file size, and Opus is the most efficient lossy audio codec around meaning it has the best quality at any given bitrate.



Please note the Opus audio codec is relatively new (released 2012) and may not be supported on all software. It does work in VLC, mpv, and is supported by ffmpeg which is used as a backend by many media players. I've been told it works on a Nvidia Shield but cannot confirm this. Media server software such as Plex or Emby will usually transcode the audio if it's not supported by the device you stream to. But support for this is up to those projects. So please make sure your setup will work with Opus audio.
