Description
The Earth is under attack by mysterious creatures named Huge. These bio-mechanical monsters cannot be stopped by conventional weapons. When humanity was facing extinction they all banded together to create Charms: a fusion of magic and science that allowed humans to finally fight back. Unfortunately not everyone can use a Charm. Only gifted young women born with this ability can synchronize to a Charm and bring out its power. They call these girls Lilies. To find and nurture these future warriors, mankind created Gardens, academies where young women with the power needed to protect humanity would study and train. Hitotsuyanagi Riri joined Yurigaoka Girls' School, the Garden where her savior, Shirai Yuyu, also studies. Riri’s goal is to become a Lily strong enough to stand by Yuyu’s side. But that will not be easy, as Yuyu has closed her heart off to others.
Now THIS is a Studio SHAFT anime that I can get behind. Loved the animation and the designs of this who. I also got pretty attached to the character, as they are all such cinnamon rolls that you don’t want anything bad to happen to them. Well, I think you know how THAT goes. Being a magical girl is suffering. The plot is nothing special, filed with early 2000’s cheese. But I like that stuff. We’ve also got some pretty cool action. And fanservice. I hope you like thighs.
