The R1DVDs were used as although R2J sources exist, upon closer inspection in the screenshot comparisons above the R2 DVDs lose texture detail *(at least those I had access to)* especially in dark areas and have numerous scenes that exhibit crushed shadow detail throughout. On the other hand, the gamma had been cranked up in the R1 release which caused the opposite issue of blooming out certain bright details (though much less frequently) as also showcased above. EP01 was originally edited on-disc as two separate versions for subtitled and dubbed viewing, therefore both are included along with a commentary track in the subbed version. Light filtering to reduce dot-crawl, haloing, as well as new UV-channel filters to fix chroma bleed and rainbowing were applied. Luma-adaptive grain matching was applied in the dark & midtone regions to ameliorate source macroblocking. Styled subtitles were taken from [**Xanth**](https://nyaa.si/view/1040071) with heavy QC by me to scene-time lines, correct a few typos mostly in EP05, restore honorifics, color-match titles, add/adjust a few lines, etc. Also as mentioned by a user in the comments of **Xanth's** release there is an audio glitch at 10:18 in the Japanese track of EP03 on the R1-authored DVD, therefore the original Japanese AC3 track from the R2J version was synced in its place to correct this. Signs-only tracks and DVD extras included.
