 (From [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memories_(1995_film))): "MEMORIES (メモリーズ) is a 1995 Japanese animated science fiction anthology film with Katsuhiro Otomo as executive producer, and based on three of his manga short stories. The film is composed of three shorts: MAGNETIC ROSE (彼女の想いで), directed by Studio 4°C co-founder Kōji Morimoto and written by Satoshi Kon; STINK BOMB (最臭兵器), directed by Tensai Okamura of Darker than Black fame and written by Otomo, and CANNON FODDER (大砲の街), written and directed by Otomo himself."  This is a remux of the 2021 US Blu-Ray. Included with this Blu-Ray is a brand-new English dub created specifically for this release, newly re-translated subtitles, and an AI restoration for certain cuts in MAGNETIC ROSE that were originally recorded from analog video. Included are all of the video bonus featurettes on the disc, along with a bonus PDF booklet from Discotek that was also included on the disc.  Given this disc was released by Discotek and the high quality of their work, everything in this remux is sourced from it. The disc allows you to choose between the restored and non-restored versions of MAGNETIC ROSE, for this remux the restored version was chosen. Choosing the restoration also results in English credits, which is what is present here. For more information on the restoration, the special feature "The Restoration of MEMORIES" explains the difference between the two versions. The video quality is incredibly high in AVC H.264, and to preserve this quality, absolutely no encoding was performed on it for this release.  In terms of audio, for the main feature, there are four tracks, all in DTS-HD: two in Japanese and two in English, with a 5.1 surround and 2.0 stereo track for each language. Please note that these audio tracks are also high quality and did not undergo any encoding whatsoever. As for the special features, the audio goes from Dolby Digital AC-3 to raw PCM, depending on the featurette. For the subtitles, the ones provided by Discotek on the Blu-Ray are used. This is due to them being newly translated after years of an older translation being used despite there being many mistakes. Included is also a Signs & Songs track for the English dub. The "MEMORIES Special Preview Video" also includes subtitles from them.
