Summary



   Gary Owen’s reworking of the classic Greek myth of Iphigenia is here moved to Cardiff. Effie, a typical discontented ‘youth’, finds herself in a situation that makes her rethink her entire life.  



   This production, directed by Rachel O’Riordan, was captured by Digital Theatre live at The North Wall Arts Centre. It received wide critical acclaim and features an extraordinary performance from Sophie Melville as Effie.

My Notes



 Splott is a district near Cardiff, the capital of Wales.  



 The play was contained in a large file transfer called Proshot where I found it.

 My thanks to the original uploader.  



 The wide critical acclaim to which I add a strong recommendation is evident

in the online images one can find for the play from many sources.



  This upload includes the hand-crafted word accurate subtitle I transferred from a copy of the written text.  To get the initial speech timings, I used You Tube Create in the private mode that gave the usual sort of autotranslate version of the text.  Then I corrected that with Owen's printed play.
