Project A-Ko 2: Plot of the Daitokuji Financial Group

 (From [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_A-ko_2:_Plot_of_the_Daitokuji_Financial_Group)): Project A-ko 2: The Plot of the Daitokuji Financial Group (プロジェクトA子2 大徳寺財閥の陰謀) is a 1987 Japanese anime OVA release directed by Yuji Moriyama. It is the sequel to the 1986 theatrical release Project A-ko.  This is a remux of the 2022 US Blu-Ray by Discotek. Included with this Blu-Ray is a brand new film scan of an original 35mm film print, surpassing the quality of every past release. Also included is the original Japanese audio, the original English dub by Central Park Media, and some special features; all using newly-translated subtitles. This remux includes everything listed above, however it unfortunately does not include any part of the image galleries. (While I have figured out a way of ripping them, it's a lot of effort, and frankly if you care that much about seeing them you should just support them and buy their Blu-Rays.)  Much like the Blu-Ray of the first Project A-ko, this disc also contains incredibly high quality footage and audio that should be a surprise to anyone used to watching the old DVDs. Such as with the last release, this is a remux, meaning that none of the files have been encoded after ripping from the disc to ensure that the digital quality is as high as possible. The video is encoded on the disc in standard 1080p H.264, but this time around the audio is raw PCM. It seems most of the special features are taken from the Japanese laserdisc, so those are in standard definition. Unlike before there is no weirdness with the aspect ratio, so everything is in 4:3.  Much like before, both the original Japanese and English dub audio is included. However what's interesting about this release is the "Music Selection" track. On the original laserdisc release, there was an extra digital audio channel that continuously played music from the OST over the course of the film, without dialog. This track was brought over to the Blu-Ray, and it is included here as well. As for the subtitles, as always they are newly translated by Discotek and are in the standard Blu-Ray subtitles format, with both Full Dialog and Signs & Songs tracks.
