The police finally begin to get concerned when a 13-year-old girl is found dead in the park. They set up a wiretap to the sorority house, but will they be in time to prevent a sorority girl attrition problem?

Da un pensionato per ragazze scompare, alla vigilia di Natale, Claire Harrison, ma, per quanto nei dintorni sia stato intanto rinvenuto il cadavere di una tredicenne assassinata, la polizia non dà molta importanza all'improvvisa sparizione della giovane. Uccisa da un maniaco (lo stesso che, da qualche tempo, infastidisce le ragazze con telefonate oscene) Claire giace perciò ignorata nella soffitta del pensionato, dove, dopo qualche ora, la raggiunge il corpo inanimato della signorina Maig, la proprietaria dello stabile che le ragazze rimaste - Jessie, Barbara e Phyllis - credono sia partita per le vacanze.....
