In Black Panther, ambientato dopo gli eventi raccontati in Captain America: Civil War, vediamo T’Challa fare ritorno nell’isolata e tecnologicamente avanzata nazione africana di Wakanda dopo la morte di suo padre, il re di Wakanda, per succedergli al trono e prendere il suo posto come legittimo re. Ma quando un vecchio e potente nemico farà ritorno, il suo ruolo come sovrano e la sua identità come Black Panther verranno messe alla prova e T’Challa sarà trascinato in un tremendo conflitto che metterà a rischio il destino di Wakanda e di tutto il mondo. Costretto ad affrontare tradimenti e pericoli, il giovane re dovrà radunare i suoi alleati e scatenare tutto il potere di Black Panther per sconfiggere i suoi nemici, mantenere Wakanda al sicuro e preservare lo stile di vita del suo popolo.
