Description
Collection of Symphogear seasons 1-4, with the new Discotek TL (that is, in my opinion, the best TL the series has had to date, but I won't get into that) and all the bonus features included therein.
Notable differences between the Discotek TL and other subs, for those unaware/curious: mostly a different more localized approach to the writing and humor, writing characters to have distinct dialects and personality in their dialogue, and subtitles for the episode previews at the end of each episode from G onwards which are narrated in character by a supporting cast member of the anime, also more prevalent gay subtext
Changes from previous standalone seasons 1-2 torrents:
* Muxed the audio down to the highest quality codec on the disc (FLAC 16-bit and *not* 24-bit) in order to save file size. You learn something new everyday, one hopes.
* Added GX and AXZ and put them in one torrent with G and S1.
* Reduced filesize by re-encoding the non-animated bonus features (such as Cast Concert + Q&A and Orchestral Recordings)
* Removed comment threads
I make no claims to ownership of any of the work I have done on this release. You are free to modify this release and make derivative releases with additional subtitle tracks or other changes.
I have no plans to update this release beyond adding XV when Discotek releases it and I get my copy of it.
Yes, I bought all of these and ripped my copies that I bought. I personally wanted to buy them, because I like the show. But you don't have to, because I'm sharing them.
