(First of all, shame on Q-Tec for their pathetic film scans. After all these years, they still haven't got a clue on what their job is supposed to be. Unfortunately, they're not alone in this, but they sure seem to be the worst of the worst. Sorry for the rant, but ultimately the whole problem all comes down to this.)
Well then, as is well known, Judgment is planning their third attempt to provide the very best possible presentation (considering the available material) of this classic Mamoru Oshii movie. And it is awesome. Check it out for yourselves, here's a little teaser (sample images provided by them).
Video is done. Audio is done. Subtitles are nearly done... for like two years now.
Translation itself is finished, and apparently all that's missing is retiming and editing. But it's pretty clear der_richter is completely burnt out from all of this.
