The Covenant, film diretto da Guy Ritchie, racconta le vicende del sergente John Kinley (Jake Gyllenhaal), che nel suo ultimo turno i servizio in Afghanistan viene incaricato di ispezionare la regione insieme ad Ahmed (Dar Salim), un interprete afgano. Quando la loro unità cade in un'imboscata nemica, John e Ahmed sono gli unici sopravvissuti. Il sergente è ferito e l'interprete rischia la propria vita pur di portarlo in salvo, percorrendo diversi chilometri nell'aspra natura e con i nemici alle calcagna.....
