Saxon - The Eagle Has Landed (1982, 2018) [WMA] [Fallen Angel]

Reissue of one of the 'classics' of British heavy metal.

Originally released in 1982, 'The Eagle Has Landed' was the first official live album by Saxon and the first to feature great drummer Nigel Glocker.

The material for the album was recorded during the 1981 tour, during which Saxon promoted his fourth studio album, 'Denim And Leather'.

The whole thing was mixed at Manor And Bray Sound Studio.

The album reached number five on the British charts. The reissue, apart from having a remastered sound, is richer than the original with five compositions that come from the band's legendary performances at London's Hammersmith Odeon in 1981 and 1982.
