The film starts with Sathya leaving for Madurai to join as a house surgeon in the GH here. He witnesses the ruthless killing of a common man in the hands of a dreadful gangster called Guru. While he tries to save the victim’s life as a doctor, Guru’s men spoil his efforts. This angers him and he tries to lock horns with Guru. But he is only left with the realisation that Guru is more powerful and it’s hard for him to combat the gangster as a doctor.
