Plot Summary


In the Old Stone Age, a disparate gang of early humans band together in search of a new land. But when they suspect a malevolent, mystical being is hunting them down, the clan are forced to confront a danger they never envisioned.

Programs such as Plex, Kodi, etc may scan this movie as either "Out of Darkness" or its original title "The Origin". They may also say it came out in 2022, which is correct for film festivals. But it didn't get a wider theatrical release until 2024, which I have used for this encode per TheMovieDatabase. So please, no comments saying the title/year is wrong.

This movie is performed entirely in a fictional language called "Tola", which of course could be used for the audio track's label. I have used English instead since the movie is British.
