R.O.D the TV was one of the first anime shows i watched so it holds a special place in my heart. this years marks 10 years since i first watched it so i figured why not make a release of it?
the BD is a bilinear upscale, so while it doesn't exactly look the best, it is still much better than a QTEC upscale like a lot of early digital shows are cursed with. VCB's encode took care of some of the very noticeable aliasing but it can still be seen at times. but overall i think it's the best looking encode of the show. (discotek please do an astrores remaster now, thanks)
subtitles are based off of KAA but i did my own edits, mainly to the typesetting and styling. whether my changes could be considered "heavily edited" or not is up to you guys to decide. there may be a few minor mistakes here and there, and the timing isn't 100% perfect but it's more than good enough for watching. either way, if you come across any major issues please let me know and if it's severe enough i can try to get a v2 out the door soon-ish
