Plot Summary



In the 16th century, the ruthless and insane Don Lope de Aguirre leads a Spanish expedition in search of El Dorado.

Encoded with a modified slow 2-Pass @ 30 MB/s. Audio tracks include the uncompressed German FLAC 5.1 and stereo tracks as well as a FLAC of the stereo English dub and lossy versions of those tracks. Includes subtitles in English plus two commentary tracks and extras. This was particularly difficult to encode due to the high amounts of both motion and grain and required some special tuning. Unfortunately the source has some minor artifacting in some shots of the sky which could not be fully corrected in the encode. These are fairly minor but if a superior source becomes available I will re-encode this one. I doubt that will happen though. This is a profile 8.1 hybrid Dolby Vision and HDR release, if you don't have a Dolby display this will play in HDR. Screenshots have been tone mapped and do not represent the full quality of the picture when played in Dolby Vision or HDR.
