Otaku no video

 (From [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otaku_no_Video)): Otaku no Video (おたくのビデオ) is a 1991 Japanese original video animation (OVA) produced by Gainax. The anime spoofs the life and culture of otaku, individuals with obsessive interests in media, particularly anime and manga, as well as the history of Gainax and its creators.  This is a remux of the new 2024 US Blu-ray by AnimEigo. They have previously released this OVA on Blu-Ray in 2015 with a Kickstarter, but this new release features improved video encoding and less ugly subtitle formatting, along with German subtitles. However, during the transition to retail, not everything was included from the old disc (mainly the commentaries and an HD reconstruction of the original promos). This remux takes the video, audio, and subtitles from this new release, along with the commentary tracks from the older Kickstarter disc, and puts them together in one easy package. Also included are the video featurettes from both discs.  Given this is a remux, no extra encoding was performed to preserve the disc's quality. The video is the original H.264 encoded present on the original disc, and is a 4:3 1080p picture pillarboxed to 16:9. The original Japanese audio, English & German subtitles, and three commentaries are all taken from both discs.
