１００年以上の歴史を刻む「老舗」の物語。今回の舞台は東京・麻布十番のたい焼き屋。そこには生きたたい焼きを届けたいという店主の情熱と、人々の笑顔がある。
創業は明治４２年（１９０９年）。日本橋と九段に開業した食堂で甘いデザートを出そうと考案したのが、縁起のよいたいの型であんこを包んで焼くたい焼き。戦前は１５０店舗まで広がった。しかし戦災で、ほとんどの店が消失。戦後、麻布十番に店を移して再スタートした。「おいしいものを食べたときに人々は笑顔になる」という現店主は、人々の笑顔を求めて工夫を重ね、いまも毎日、たい焼きを作り続ける。File list
