I was motivationally challenged while working on this so it's a lazy TL and TS, with NO quality check, because even the rest of Blasphemboys staff couldn't be arsed to look at this. That said, this was probably the best delinquent show I've worked on: it's shorter, more clever and more bonkers than Rokublueshit, and its super-deformed faces and exaggerated reactions do make for an occasional laugh. The only other delinquent anime I've worked on is Shit Shitban Bakushitzaku and that one is so shit that it's not hard to best it on every front. This OVA adapts the first 2 chapters of the source manga, then jumps immediately to the middle of volume 4 and adapts ~4 more from there. TL notes: • *Look, no matter what, my heart is with "Pro Golfer Tokiko"*—when the boys are discussing TV shows here, this line is parodying the failed show "[Pro Golfer Reiko](https://wiki.d-addicts.com/Pro_Golfer_Reiko)" about a delinquent girl. • *No, no, if we’re talking preferences, mine's with "Commando Girl Izumi!"*—this one's for [Shoujo Commando Izumi](https://mydramalist.com/39321-shoujo-commando-izumi). • Kyoko's squad's name is one massive gag: 南高レディース八輪暴走団（やつわぼうそうだん）= Purple Division of the Nanko Ladies Eight-Wheel Rampage Gang. Purple Division is spelled as "Murasaki Shikibu" (Lady Murasaki), "Ladies" is a typical name for women's biker gangs, Nanko is a typical name for a disadvantaged Yankee school, "Eight Wheels" would usually refer to the motorcycle wheels, denoting that they have four gang members, but here it actually refers to their rollers—each has four wheels, and each girl wears two of them. • *Oh? That’s rare—short jacket in this weather?*—he says "短ラン" (tanran) although Matsugoro is usually seen wearing "ヨーラン" (youran). To my shock, it seems there is still no autistic article in English that'd comprehensively explain the differences, therefore I give the tribune to our guest expert ChatGPT: �短ラン (tanran) is a cropped, short version of the traditional gakuran, worn by delinquents to give off a sharp, rebellious vibe. ヨーラン (yōran), on the other hand, is an exaggeratedly long jacket that looks more flashy and dramatic, often associated with gang leaders or showier punks.
