Synopsis:
Wizards of Waverly Place follows the Russo family, who own a sandwich shop in New York City’s Greenwich Village. The three Russo children - Alex, Justin, and Max - are wizards-in-training who must keep their magical abilities secret from the outside world. Under the guidance of their father Jerry, a former wizard who gave up his powers to marry their mortal mother Theresa, the siblings compete for the right to become the family wizard and keep their powers permanently. The series chronicles their magical mishaps, sibling rivalries, and everyday teenage struggles as they navigate high school, friendships, and romance while learning to master their craft.
Starring Selena Gomez as the rebellious and quick-witted Alex, David Henrie as the studious Justin, and Jake T. Austin as the goofy Max, the show became one of Disney Channel’s most beloved original series. The show also features Maria Canals-Barrera and David DeLuise as their parents, along with Jennifer Stone as Alex’s quirky best friend Harper.
