Despite being the only student without any magic aptitude, Will Serfort aims to score perfect grades in every subject, which would allow him to ascend to the Wizard's Tower and reunite with his childhood friend, Elfaria Albis Serfort. However, Will's hard work comes tumbling down when he fails the very last, biased exam, disqualifying him from entering the Wizard's Tower. Meanwhile, Elfaria and the other Magia Vander—the five most powerful mages—perform the annual ritual that protects their world from the dangerous Celestial Hosts.
