Plot

Arsenio Lupin III è il protagonista della serie, un ladro dalle innumerevoli e incredibili abilità, ricercato dalla
polizia di tutto il mondo. Agile, fisico asciutto, maestro nei travestimenti, trasmette un'impressione di stupidità
a chi non lo conosce, mentre è capace di ideare furti geniali. Il suo punto debole sono le belle donne: non può
resistere al loro fascino, perdendo completamente la testa. Nipote del celebre ladro francese Arsenio Lupin,
ideatore del premio più ambito dai ladri del globo, il Lupin d'oro, Lupin III sembra nato in Giappone e avrebbe
avuto tra i suoi antenati un umile contadino. Afferma però di «aver ricevuto il primo bagno nelle acque gelide
della Senna»: questo lascia supporre che, almeno per quanto concerne la serie animata, Lupin sia francese.
