Camp X-Ray

TRAMA:

La giovane Amy Cole fugge dalla sua vita monotona per arruolarsi nell'esercito, con il desiderio di andare in servizio in Iraq. Purtroppo la giovane soldatessa viene assegnata come guardia carceraria al campo di prigionia di Guantánamo dove si svolgono torture e repressioni nei confronti dei detenuti. Qui ognuno di loro viene esaminato e la sua cella viene controllata molto spesso.

Dopo varie difficoltà di adattamento, la soldatessa Cole riuscirà a legare un rapporto particolare di amicizia con Alì, un innocente prigioniero tunisino arrestato a Brema in Germania e rinchiuso lì da otto anni con il numero identicativo 471. Egli, oltre a dormire e mangiare, ha come passa tempo la lettura di Harry Potter e il sudoku.


STORYLINE:

A young soldier escapes her suffocating small town by joining the military, only to find that she isn't going for a tour of duty in Iraq as she hoped. Instead, she's sent to Guantanamo. Met with hatred and abuse from the men in her charge, she forges an odd friendship with a young man who has been imprisoned at Gitmo for eight years.
