Był to ich wielki eksperyment, który jednak nie został skończony, gdyż Ci go porzucili i zaczęli prace nad ascendencją. Misja, która zaczyna się jako zwykły rekonesans, przeistacza się w nigdy niekończącą się misję, gdyż jak się okazuje, statek nie może powrócić na Ziemię.
