Note from EncoderEncoded with CRF 18, includes commentary, extras, and English and Spanish subtitles. Unfortunately the source for this movie is not the best, it has clearly been DNR'd to hell and the black levels are off balance. This has the effect of crushing out most of the background details in dark scenes (which is most of the movie) and lowering contrast in general. There was also a fair amount of banding which I have corrected as best I can with a filter, other than that no other filters were applied and I didn't degrain at all. Still, this is the best source available right now and  a huge improvement over the DVD so I went with what I could get. But in the unlikely event a true studio remaster of the film is ever produced I will encode this forgotten gem one more time.
