After the death of his grandmother and the traumatic divorce of his parents, high school loner Prem is about to discover the harsh reality of growing up. Prem's bond with his father is shattered whilst distance grows between mother and son, leading him to life changing relationships with a troubled teacher, a victimised classmate and the object of his affection.
