Lorraine Broughton (Theron), la migliore esperta di intelligence della Gran Bretagna, viene perciò inviata in missione nel continente per indagare sulla scomparsa del collega e rintracciare la lista perduta. In questa polveriera di rivolta sociale, controspionaggio, defezioni fallite e assassinii segreti, la bella e letale Lorraine, in squadra col capo dell'intelligence locale David Percival (James McAvoy), fa uso delle conoscenze apprese durante l'addestramento e di tutte le sue doti naturali per recuperare la lista prima che il muro si sgretoli, portando via con sé anche gli ultimi brandelli di comunismo.
