О фильме:

На Землю прилетает маленький метеорит и становится причиной больших перемен. Он врезается в одиноко стоящий маяк и что загадочным образом меняет территорию вокруг.

Профессор биологии Лина уже год страдает от потери мужа-военного. Кейн отправился на очередное секретное задание, но так и не вернулся - жив ли, погиб - женщина не знает, пока однажды дезориентированный и слегка бледный супруг внезапно не появляется на пороге их спальни. Радость длится недолго - у мужчины начинаются судороги и множественные кровотечения, а по дороге в больницу машину скорой помощи тормозят военные. Лина приходит в себя на секретной базе рядом с той самой загадочной зоной, куда уже отправлялись многочисленные экспедиции, но вернулся, оказывается, только один человек - её Кейн.
