Vapoursynth Script
Today's episode features
the single most impressive sign I have personally seen typeset. To understand why that is, let me explain: the original japanese sign is "obscure code", made by the world's best IOCCC player, Yusuke Endoh. You can see the original video on
Youtube and read more about it on his
blog. The code that is seen in the initial starting image is the very same code that creates the animation that follows. Don't ask me for more detail because honestly I dont understand how this is possible.
What Angrevol did was not only
typeset this sign, but also
retain the feature of the obscure code. Both the original sign and the typeset sign are code that can be executed in any ruby terminal, and this will yield the exact same animation you see in the episode itself! For those interested, the original sign (nankai.rb) and Angrevol's "translation" (puzzle.rb) are both attached to this file. Moreover,
Endoh himself responded to us (just Angre, honestly, but I'm fine taking part of the credit having done nothing to contribute to this work)!

Should you feel it necessary to send me images of cute bookworm anime girls in libraries (either from animanga or illustrations), doing so is also permissible. Use mpv or perish.
