Infinite, film diretto da Antoine Fuqua, è la storia di Evan Michaels (Mark Wahlberg), un uomo perseguitato da alcune allucinazioni, che scoprirà essere visione di un lontano passato. L'uomo, infatti, ha ricordi che non ha mai vissuto e conosce posti che non ha mai visitato. Mentre cerca di capire perché questi flashback lo perseguitano, scoprirà l'esistenza di una sette segreta, denominata Infinites, una sorta di gruppo di "Illuminati", che riesce a controllare gli eventi che segnano o hanno segnato la storia dell'umanità.

Il gruppo gli rivela che tutto ciò che vede sono frammenti di vite passate e lo introducono nel loro mondo per far sì che lui riesca a liberare la sua memoria dalle catene della mente e a lasciar scorrere i suoi ricordi. Così facendo, Evan potrà aiutare gli Infinites a salvare l'umanità, minacciata da Ted (Chiwetel Ejiofor), un ex membro della setta che vuole distruggere il mondo...
