Maruko Sakura is a young elementary school student growing up with her parents, grandparents and elder sister in this animated series based on the producer's childhood in the 60's. As Maruko grows up and learns the ways of the world, she and her friends get themselves into an assortment of predicaments, but with Maruko's ingenuity (and the help of her grandfather) they usually finds her way through.

It's Valentine's Day, and Maruko struggles with the decision of who she should give chocolate to. Then, Maruko goes to cheer on Hanawa when he's scheduled to make an appearance on a televised singing contest.
Note: This episode was left off of the Blu-ray set, presumably because of music rights. This rip was taken from Marukazoku, which was grabbed from an HDTV broadcast. This will explain the difference in file size and quality.File list
