Episodes 1 and 2 have been remuxed to fix chapter names. The video and audio are identical to the old files.
Episode 25 (which aired the week after episode 24) has a bunch of behind-the-scenes stuff and some interviews. The vast majority of it was shot on tape, which means that it’s upscaled (using the same digital transfer as the DVDs), and I’ve encoded it at 60fps. I’ve left the small black borders on the side that is typical of video sourced from analog tape as I didn’t want to deal with the math involved with the two different pixel aspect ratios that would require, especially when an encode from the DVD would probably look just as good if not better.
Episode 26 is a recap, but one that covers only the first 17 episodes. It was unaired during the original run (at least in the Kanto region). There was some live event airing instead the week between episodes 17 and 18 (probably baseball), but would have aired if the event got rained out or something. It would be shown when the series was rebroadcast the next year Like other Sukeban Deka recap episodes, it wasn’t included in the DVD volumes, but was instead released on a DVD of just the recap episodes.File list
