The actions you can take while typing in Japanese with an IME, e.g. - convert kana to kanji (spacebar) - move onto the next word (enter key, removes the underline) …are very different than when typing in English, and have no real English (or Latin alphabet) equivalent. So I had to think of & typeset visuals (while pacing it to match the sound) that emulate different keystrokes which also represent moving toward the final form of something & signal "completeness", namely: - typing a period at the end of a sentence - selecting text and capitalizing it Sheng Meng Chen also went _to TOWN_ on this episode, my lord.
